Ifa is preserved and coded within 256 Odus, each Odu representing an esoteric portal, where there are1,680 sacred verses presented in parable format.

Awo from ancient history, who were students that trained with and followed the teachings of Orunmila were prophets, seers and gifted visionaries. They're even until this day, older Ifa priests invested with power, who live by the principles and divine patterns, established by Orunmila; without utilizing Ikin, casting opele or revealing Odu.
